New to the Austin area show me around.

Hello I'm kind of a private person when I meet new people, but when we've gotten comfortable speaking I tend to be overly open and perhaps at times too honest. Sometimes I'm a bit brazen, but I just need someone to keep me in my place and I'm fine. I'm often told I'm easygoing and laidback. I always work hard to keep those around me laughing and smiling. I enjoy reading fiction mostly, music, concerts, dogs and cats. I love the outdoors. I enjoy working with my hands. I try my hardest to be a simple person. I work out 4-5 times a week. I desire much in life, but I loathe greed and materialism. I'm very utilitarian and minimalistic. If I could I'd farm and shoot for self-sustenance away from society. If that fails I have till I'm forty to join the French Foreign Legion. I've been with the same company for seven years and I love what I do, but I do plan to one day own my own business. I love all alternative music hardcore, punk, metal, indie, house, hip hop, and basically anything underground. In my free time I create spotify playlists my rockabilly/garage/psychobilly/oldies is the most popular. While I do smoke cigarettes I'm desperately trying to quit [11 days without!] I do enjoy on occasion marijuana and a nice single malt whisky. I love all animals and dogs, I'm currently trying to volunteer at the NSPCA, but they aren't returning my calls. I'm determined to walk their dogs. I served in the United States Marine Corps right out of high school and it is one of my proudest achievements. I'm looking for a best friend. Reciprocation of effort, affection, and honesty is huge with me. Depends, I usually try to do a three tiered date where we can talk and get to know each other, then we can do an activity go to a museum or some activity together where we can interact with each other and talk, then if we like we can get a drink.
